at the Garden Book Fair on Sunday September 19

The Domaine d'Orvès hosts the Garden Book Fair every year, organized at the end of summer in the famous garden of Valette-du-Var by Françoise Darlington, her son Kenneth and the association of friends of the estate with the support of the Fondation des Parcs et Jardins de France. We will be there next Sunday with a host of prestigious authors.

Gilles Clément, Jean-Pierre le Dantec, Marc Nucéra, Véronique Mure…, the Garden Book Fair offers in the terraces of the domain of Orvès a meeting between the authors of the world of the garden (landscapers, gardeners, historians, journalists…) and garden lovers. Invited this year with our book "Les Jardins de Castillon", we will have the pleasure of meeting our readers at the end of the summer to discuss our publications and our projects.

The purpose of the Salon is to allow the present authors and visitors to meet and exchange as freely as possible, in an inspiring setting where the rich artistic and intellectual life that the painter Pierre Deval, “the master of Orvès” (1897-1993), father of Françoise Darlington, the current owner, impelled there a hundred years ago and impelled there a hundred years ago and can still be felt.
